An exciting future
Inspired by the amazing children and young people we have the pleasure of working with, we are working on ambitious plans to enhance our offering. We regularly carry out a strategic review of our services to ensure they remain effective and to identify new opportunities, especially as our teenage members move towards adulthood.
Creating a “Centre of Excellence”
Our vision for the future includes creating a Centre of Excellence, helping our children and young people who have Down syndrome reach their full, individual potential and providing invaluable services and information for parents, carers and professionals involved in their care and development too. Our move to our first dedicated premises in Reigate in 2024 has enabled us to bring all our services together under one roof, provide additional facilities to benefit our members and create exciting opportunities to fully engage with the wider community.
Will you help to build our future?
Having our own building from which to operate is such a positive development for PSDS. We are looking forward to building a relationship with our local community too – raising awareness and understanding, which will hopefully lead to exciting opportunities for PSDS and the young people we support.
We have been busy carrying out a number of venue improvements at 42a Prices Lane, including our fabulous new garden space made possible by a grant from Your Fund Surrey, and we are also working hard to raise the £180,000 needed annually to fund our vital services.
