Your support will help to change lives.
Every donation matters!
Making a donation, raising funds or volunteering makes an enormous difference to PSDS and the families accessing our essential services.
We are fully self-funded, with an annual fundraising target of £190,000. Help us reach our goal!
Fundraising events
We organise our own events – including quizzes, wine-tastings, coffee mornings, golf days, auctions and raffles. You can get involved by taking part, donating prizes or sponsoring one of our events. Why not join our Events and Fundraising team of volunteers or organise an event of your own? We’d love to hear your ideas and we’d love to be your charity partner if your workplace or club is looking for a good cause to support. Please contact Helen to find out the difference your support will make.

PSDS Golf Day – Friday 26th June 2026
Last year’s Golf Day at the Reigate Heath Golf Club was a great success, raising almost £7,000 to support our services for children and young people with Down syndrome and their families. We are so grateful to everyone who took part and helped to raise this incredible total.
We are excited to be returning to Reigate Heath once again this year for more fun on the fairways, followed by fabulous food, a raffle and auction and early evening entertainment open to our golfers and their guests.
Please hold the date of Friday 26th June 2026. Entry forms will be available very soon. Don’t miss the chance to take part in this wonderful event for a really great cause.
If you would like to support this event with a raffle prize or auction lot, or sponsor an element of the golf day please let us know – we’d be hugely grateful for any help you can offer.
Run – or get muddy – for us!
Join TeamPSDS for the YMCA’s Fun Run and Sports Festival – Sunday 3rd May 2026. Or RunReigate on Sunday 20th September. Both events take place in and around Priory Park, Reigate. Get in touch with Helen if you’d like to find out more. Runners of all ages, abilities and distances are welcome, there are races for children and teens too – the focus is on having fun and being part of a team!
Fancy putting your best foot forward further afield?
We have teamed up with Run for Charity who provide places at hundreds of running events (and tough mudders!) across the country. You can sign up at a reduced rate if you support PSDS, we just ask that you run on our behalf to raise funds and awareness for us.
Check out the Run for Charity website or our own section within it.

Down Syndrome Awareness Week – 16th-22nd March 2026
World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated globally on the 21st March each year, reflecting the third copy of the 21st chromosome. We invite our members and supporters to wear mismatched socks on or around this date to celebrate that every single one of us is a unique individual. During Down Syndrome Awareness Week charities like ours organise events and campaigns to raise awareness as well as raising essential funds. Please let us know if you’d like to get involved in rocking your socks or supporting PSDS during Down Syndrome Awareness Week! 2026 marks our 20th year of providing support for children and young people with Down syndrome and their families – we’d love to make it an extra-special one and with your help we can!
