Eileen’s Eggcellent Event

Beau’s Nanny Eileen recently put together a cracking Easter themed fundraiser for PSDS! Fun games included Name The Bunny and Guess How Many Eggs in the Jar, plus a tombola, lucky dip and cake sale all helped to keep everyone entertained during the afternoon.

With the support and generosity of her friends, family and neighbours, Eileen raised a total of £658.90 for PSDS. Gift Aid on the numerous donations made before and during the afternoon will boost this total by a further £71.25.

This fantastic total is much more than Eileen expected, as she explains: “I’m so pleased to have organised an event which has raised so much money for a charity that is dear to my heart. I’m thrilled with the amount, everyone has been very generous. Thank you PSDS for the wonderful job you do for so many children and their families.”

PSDS co-founder Helen popped in to thank Eileen and her friends for all their hard work. “It means a great deal to us when our families raise funds to thank PSDS for the support they have received,” Helen commented, “A lot of effort went in to Eileen’s event and we are incredibly grateful for the fabulous amount everybody raised!”
