Beth’s Big Half

Families supporting families is at the very heart of PSDS, so we are always really delighted when siblings want to raise funds as a thank you for the support their family has received.

William’s sister Beth tells us what motivated her to take on the Big Half in London recently:

“PSDS has been an incredible source of support for my brother William. The charity has helped him (and us) with everything from speech therapy to social groups and has been there since William was a baby.

I really enjoyed running the Big Half for PSDS. It was such a great atmosphere on the day and the highlight was definitely seeing William and the rest of my family cheering me on to the finish line! I am really grateful to PSDS for all of the support they have shown William and my family over the years and to everyone who donated Ito help PSDS keep doing the brilliant work they do for so many families like ours!”

Thank you Beth and all who showed their support by generously donating a total of £643. Well done to Beth who not only on completed her Big Half with a big smile on her face, but also smashed her fundraising target too. What a superstar sister Beth is to William and a fabulous supporter of PSDS.
