Mogstock Rocks

July’s family-friendly entertainment extravaganza that is Mogstock™ Music Festival was a magnificent success.

Over 700 music lovers attended Mogstock, including the Friday night Twilight session and the afternoon and evening event on Saturday 18th July.

The sun shone, the festival vibes were strong and a multitude of musicians and performers treated everyone to an eclectic mix – from well-known anthems and rock covers to acoustic sets, with original numbers featuring on the playlists too.

Creativity is at the core of Mogstock and it was particularly evident this year with an arts and crafts area run by PSDS supporter Debbie where visitors of all ages made paper flowers, colourful streamers and painted rocks, plus PSDS member Penny’s Paint Your Own Postcard activity and art stall superbly supported by her son, Austin.

Thanks to the talents of County Care’s woodwork team there was also a Boogie Bus selfie frame – which looked fantastic and had many posing “passengers”!

It’s an understatement to say it takes a lot of hard work to put an event like Mogstock together, it is a true example of the community coming together to create something really great. Supported by their army of volunteers, with sponsors kindly donating money, time and materials (including free use of the field from Dents Farm!) and performers all showcasing their talents for free, Mogstock 2026 has raised over £10,000 for local good causes, including a £2,000 donation for PSDS.

We are extremely grateful, thank you Mogstock and all who rock with you!

Extra special thanks to Mogstock sponsor, Corporate Insurance Services Limited who set up a Crowdfunder to raise funds for PSDS, with a match funding pot of £5,000 from the Aviva Foundation Communities Fund through their Double The Difference campaign.

You can find out more about the CiSL Crowdfunder and donate here (if you can help us unlock the full £5,000 match funding pot that would be amazing!).
