Summer Fun

A Pizza Social and a Summer Party were the perfect way to celebrate the end of term at PSDS and bring our 2025-26 academic year to a close.

Courtesy of our friends at Monte Forte Neapolitan Pizza who very kindly supported this event, our teens and young adults enjoyed a fabulous Friday night feast of pizza and garlic bread, accompanied by soft drinks and ice-creams which were donated by Bramley House Residential Home.

Bramley House’s generous support also extended to a delicious array of cakes and biscuits for our PSDS family summer party on Sunday 5th July, with more ice-creams and drinks too.

It was lovely to see 42a and the garden filled with fun on a very sunny day! We are so grateful to PSDS member Niamh who, along with her mum Stella, did a 2 hour, very warm, stint of face-painting. We loved seeing all the walking works of art – our younger members were transformed in to wild animals (not literally!), beautiful butterflies and magical unicorns.

Arts and crafts and pebble painting were also greatly enjoyed, along with the games in the garden. We’re already looking forward to our next get-togethers after the Summer break. Until then, have a great Summer one and all!
