Time For Tea

Our annual Afternoon Tea was a great success once again this year, with 37 PSDS members, supporters, friends and volunteers enjoying a relaxing catch-up over a cuppa and cakes (and other sweet and savoury treats too)!

It was a lovely atmosphere in the Garden Room at the Reigate Manor Hotel, where the team looked after us all really well and kept the tea and coffee refills coming!

This enjoyable event is a wonderful way to celebrate the friendships we have all made through PSDS – members across many different age groups within the charity were in attendance and we were thrilled that six members of our volunteer team were able to join us as our guests too. Our volunteers devote many hours a year of their time to help out at various clubs and activities, including our Digbies pre-school groups and coffee mornings for our new parents/carers and their babies. We are so grateful for their support and the Afternoon Tea is just a small way of saying thank you.

A fun raffle towards the end of the afternoon helped to raise over £400 for PSDS, but the real value of the Afternoon Tea is celebrating the friendships made and continued through our fabulous children and young people. Let’s raise a cup to that!!
