Festive Fun Fun Fun!

December got off to a really festive start thanks to our not one, not two but three Christmas parties which took place at 42a on Sunday 1st December!

Huge thanks to Jon and Katherine for organising the parties and to all our members and supporters who helped with decorations, raffle prizes, refreshments and tidying up. 

Special thanks to Waitrose & Partners Dorking whose recent Community Matters donation of £1,125 contributed towards our Christmas celebrations, in keeping with their theme of bringing families together.

Over 150 children, young people and their families enjoyed all the festive fun – complete with gifts from Santa, “snow”, balloon modelling and entertainment from Patches the Elf, tasty treats and music and games for our older members in their evening party.

Our festive fundraising was boosted by a further £465, thanks to the hampers raffled at Digbies and our Christmas parties, along with Jo’s pre-loved Christmas jumpers and toy sale.

We are really grateful to everyone who helped make the parties such a cracking celebration!
