Ismail’s Inspirational Climb

PSDS member Ismail and his friends Mehmet, Emre and Bekir scaled Snowdon on 26th May, clocking up 23km and 35,000 steps in rather challenging weather conditions! Inspired by his daughter Elif starting to walk by herself recently, Ismail wanted to raise funds to thank PSDS for the amazing support Elif and her friends receive at DIGBIES, our early development groups which provide access to specialist services including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, sing and sign and learning through play. Poor weather conditions made the Snowdon hike very tough, but Ismail and his friends made it to the summit and back again and were really pleased to complete such a tiring but meaningful climb. The fab four have raised over £500 and donations are still coming in. Thank you Ismail, Mehmet, Emre, Bekir and all who have donated in support of your epic challenge.
